Because of the more complex and detail orientated nature of the villa business, we like to have agents work directly with our villa specialists to ensure we are addressing the needs of the client and his/her group. Our villa specialists can point out specific details like if there are steep stairs that might not work well for elderly family members, or if a property is child friendly, etc. Our bookings tend are high touch, and our team is fully staffed to handle the volume of requests we get. I like to say that our website is so sleek and user friendly, but we still want to keep that personal element in helping advisors choose the right villa for the guest. The Luxury Circle is Shangri-La Group's preferred partner program for our luxury agencies and partners with preferred rates and amenities.
Booking Instructions
The Luxury Circle program is very easy to book:
- The Luxury Circle website features a Booking Engine
- In GDS, The Luxury Circle rate codes will appear under the chain code, “SG”, as the first rate under the public rates, with no rate access code needed to find them.
- When using the booking engine, the Agency’s IATA number, and your Travel Advisor’s TLC Agent ID number will automatically cascade onto your booking – there is no need to input it each time! In GDS, you should include your Agent ID number in the SI field, using the ‘TLCxxxxx’ format.
- Each hotel’s page features an ‘Upgrade Chart’, located under the Insider Tips, indicating which room types are upgradeable.
- Within 48 hours of a confirmed booking made by website or GDS, you will receive an updated confirmation email, reflecting the confirmed upgrade.
