Expedia TAAP is the Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program that offers agent commissions on millions of properties worldwide (hotels & vacation rentals) plus activities, flights & ground transport options. Please note that Expedia TAAP also pays commission on VRBO bookings.

All TEN advisors will now get 13% Commissions for Premium properties as Expedia TAAP will consolidate all the current Travel Edge accounts into one master account (with the CAD account staying as is, but also at a 12.5% commission level, due to the different currency).

Expedia TAAP (Travel Agent Affiliate Program) is a booking platform that allows travel agents to access Expedia's inventory of hotels, vacation packages, and activities, and earn commissions on bookings made through the platform.

It provides travel agents with tools and resources to book travel for their clients while offering competitive rates and a wide range of options. TAAP enables travel agents to customize their offerings, manage bookings efficiently, and earn commissions on the travel arrangements they make for their clients.

Airline waiver information

BA-British Air "Soft Dollars"- favors, waivers, spec upgrade requests

As a preferred agency with BA, Worldview Travel has negotiated a favor, waiver and upgrade program with BA. This program becomes effective today, August 1st and it is based on a "Soft Dollar" account. To request any upgrade, favor or waiver you can send your request to: air.support@trrip-arc.com

Below are some of the parameters of the program:

  1. Requests apply only to itineraries that originate in North America and must contain only "true" BA flights-no code-shares except EC-Open Skies
  2. One Class, one-way, one-segment upgrade on round-trip tickets ONLY. (cannot be combined with any other upgrade offer)
  3. Requests must be emailed Mon-Fri, 830AM-330PM, Pacific.
  4. Most requests will be answered within 2 1/2 hours
  5. Penalty and Refund waivers may take up to 24hrs
  6. Upgrades, favors, waivers range in soft dollar cost to Worldview Travel range from 240.00 to 1500.00
  7. Effective Nov. 25, 2014 Upgrades from Business to First on LAX-LHR route are not allowed
  8. Effective immediately, only six upgrades allowed per year per passenger.

The waiver or upgrade cost will be deducted from your agency’s Soft Dollar Bank. Once authorization for a waiver or upgrade is granted, soft dollar values cannot be refunded or redeposited for ANY reason

Make any changes to upgraded segment in same record in original booking class and re-request. DO NOT build a new/separate record.

American Express Fine Hotels, Resorts & Cruise Privileges Programs

American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts Program Booking Instructions

The RezSaver portal is your one-stop shop to service American Express Platinum Card Members. You can search and book Fine Hotel + Resorts®, The Hotel Collection and obtain Cruise Privilege Program Tracking numbers.

If your client has an American Express Platinum Card (US Cardmembers only), then it's no problem to book them in the Rezsaver site and get amenities.

The Travel Edge Orange County office has Agency Code 6671512 for all TEN West Coast advisors.

You have to register every booking online and Amex will apply these amenities to the bookings. The RezSaver system will generate a booking confirmation that confirms the booking is complete and includes a hotel confirmation number or cruise tracking number.

IATA Cards

For advisors already registered with IATAN: Previous Agency If you have been previously registered under a different IATA number Travel Edge can transfer that registration to the IATA you are currently affiliated with. Please send a copy of your IATA card (front and back) to advisor.services@traveledge.com along with any information you would like updated (i.e. name, email, phone number, address). If you don’t send updated information your confirmation email will be sent to the email IATAN has on file.

IATAN will send a confirmation number to your email address and you’ll be able to apply to renew your card when it expires.

For advisors already registered with IATAN: Requesting a Card

If you are already registered with IATAN – there is a self-service portal where you can request a new ID card or renew your current card. Visit this link to log into the site and request or renew your card.

For new registrations: No previous IATA Card

For advisors needing to be registered with IATAN for the first time you must meet the following requirements:

  • Been in the industry for at least 6 months
  • Have a total of $5,000 USD or $5,000 CAD for Canadian Advsiro in collected commissions annually
