Who will the email come from?

The email “sender” address will be yourname@traveledge.com. The sender must match the sending entity to ensure that it is not identified as spam, so Travel Edge addresses are being created for all advisors. ​

Will there be any Travel Edge identification on the email? ​

The only Travel Edge identification will be a physical address in a small font at the end of the email. This too is required so that the email is not identified as spam. ​

Can I personalize the salutation (e.g. Dear Michelle)? ​​

All emails will be addressed to the name in the profile’s first name field, so please make sure the client profile includes the appropriate first name. If it is a couple enter both first names separated by an &. ​

Can I include a head shot and a logo?

There is the opportunity for both photo personalization and a logo.

When there is a hyperlink to book, where does the link lead? ​

The CTA will drive to a landing page with detailed offer information as well as form fields that send the lead directly to your inbox.

Can we link our own social media channels to the email or do they go to TE social?

The email cannot currently link to advisor social media.

Can we decide who gets emails and who doesn’t?

You may opt your clients in or out for email marketing, but once opted in they will receive an email driving to a preference center where they can select all, cruise only or cruise lite.

Can you list two advisor names on personal message? ​  

Yes, whatever you enter in the Personalization Preference form will appear.​

Can clients unsubscribe to TE email marketing?

Yes, by clicking unsubscribe on any email. The response is immediate, and you will also receive a notification. Once unsubscribed, clients can not re-subscribe. ​

Will air specials be promoted or will it just be hotels, cruises, tours etc.? ​

All types of travel will be featured from time to time.

Will there be different emails to Canada vs US clients? (i.e. if they are for domestic travel in the US, it doesn’t apply to Canadians) ​

Emails will only be deployed to clients for whom the offer is valid. ​

What will the subject line indicate?

The subject line will most often reference the partner being featured. ​

Can we preview what is about to be sent, and then opt out or in?​

We are not able to promise each email in advance; however, the Edge will announce which partners will be featured in the following week’s emails.​

Do client “companions” receive marketing? ​

People listed as companions on a client profile will not receive marketing. Simply create a separate profile to enable them for marketing​.

What if two advisors have the same client in their database?​

An email can only be sent from one advisor. If more than one advisor shares a client, the email will be personalized to the last agent of record.​

Can we opt clients out of program?

Yes, you would need to opt them out on Client Base/ADX or request a global opt out by sending an email to: clientbase.support@trip-arc.com.
