  • Arrival from various locations to Cusco! Transfer to Explora Valle Sagrado are provided via group transfers at scheduled times, so arrivals will vary.  In the afternoon, enjoy a walk to Yucay, the historic residence of Incan rulers, to set the tone for your journey. End the day by unwinding at the Pumacahua Bathhouse Spa before an overnight stay at Explora Valle Sagrado. The lodge offer full board, so enjoy dinner and drinks on property.

  • Today we will visit Cúper Bajo, a vibrant community of female weavers preserving millennial traditions. Explore agricultural terraces, the archaeological palace ruins, and the local markets of Chinchero. There are activities at the Lodge that you can also experience and design your free time. Enjoy dinner together, go stargazing and enjoy each other's company.

  • Design your own day, choose to explore the living Incan Town of Ollantaytambo, visit the circular terraces of Moray or the salt pools of Maras, experience the vibrant market of Pisac, bike along the Urubamba River, or hike to “5 Lagoons” passing remote villages and alpaca farmers. There are activities at the Lodge that you can also experience and design your free time Enjoy dinner together, play board games, read a book or go to bed early.   

 

  • Today is the day! Step back in time with a visit to the famous historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the most impressive architectural expressions of the Inca civilization. 
  • Machu Picchu – the is an all-day adventure from 8am to 8pm on the Vista Dome Train. Exploring Machu Picchu involves walking up to 3 hours with ups and downs and large step ups. We recommend hiking boots and hiking clothing.  
  • We have confirmed reservations for Circuit 3 Realeza Diseada at 11:00am ~ we will depart the lodge by 7:30am and take the 8:30am train  
  • After our hike we will visit the Citadel and have lunch  
  • Our return train departs at 5:00pm
  • Farewell to Explora Valle Sagrado dinner together, time to share your experiences and share photos!

  • At 5:00 PM, join us for a fun and flavorful Pisco Sour experiencelearn how to craft Peru’s iconic cocktail like a pro. 
  • Then at 6:00 PM, we’ll kick off a Historical Tour on property, followed by a lovely dinner on-site at Qespi to wrap up the day in style.

  • Passport & Entry Requirements 
    • U.S. and Canadian citizens can enter Peru visa-free for tourism or business for up to 90 days. 
    • Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry into Peru. 
    • You may be required to show proof of onward or return travel upon arrival.

  • Health & Vaccination Requirements 
    • No mandatory vaccinations are required for entry. 
    • Yellow Fever vaccine is recommended if traveling to the Amazon region. 
    • It’s advisable to be up to date on routine vaccinations (Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus). 
    • Altitude sickness precautions may be necessary for Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
